Writing content
Standard Markdown is used, rendered by the render hooks in layouts/_markup.
Images (a standalone image is rendered as a figure, the title is the caption; JPEG, PNG and WebP images are served as WebP in several widths):

[](https://twitter.com/someone/status/123)
Links to pages (with a flag when the target is in the other language; an empty text is replaced by the title of the page) and to attached files:
[](/blog/my-article.md)
[Some text](/blog/my-article.md#some-section)
[The slides](slides.pdf)
Code blocks, optionally with a file name or a title:
```yaml {filename="config.yaml" hl_lines="3-5"}
```
```sh {title="CoreOS"}
```
Shortcodes: youtube, embeddedVideo (videos attached to the page) and
attachedFileLink (URL of an attached file, e.g. in a code block).
The old shortcodes (attachedFigure, screenshotOf, internalLink,
highlightFile, highlightWithTitle, highlight, relref) can be converted
with scripts/convert-shortcodes.py FILE.md.

static directories). It was previously maintained as a git submodule in
hugo-theme-itix, whose
history has been merged in this repository.
It is derived from hugo-theme-diary and released under the MIT license (see LICENSE-theme).
